FNF recently received the Associated General Contractor’s Build Arizona Excellence in Construction Award for ADOT’s Cornville to Sedona project located on Highway 89A. A strong partnering commitment, established at the beginning of the project, resulted in successfully constructing a four-lane roadway in one of the most scenic and environmentally sensitive areas in the United States. The project team addressed significant changed conditions during both the northern (Sedona) and southern (Cornville) phases of the work with the slightest impact to the construction schedule. The project included drilling and blasting over one million cubic yards of rock, all within 100 feet of the traveling lane with minimal affect on the traveling public or inconvenience to the local citizens.

FNF was awarded The National Asphalt Pavement Association’s 2003 Quality in Construction Award for our “exemplary quality HMA paving” on the Two Guns Project in Winslow, Arizona. This award from NAPA gives recognition to contractors for their best HMA paving projects all over the United States. This project represents one of the most successful ADOT end-product paving project since its conception in 1990. Also, we achieved near record numbers for smoothness. The project consisted of 10 miles of mill and fill on I-40 between Winslow and Flagstaff. We replaced guard rail, did the seeding, and also replaced a concrete bridge barrier.
FNF ranked number one in the Heavy Construction Company Category of the Arizona Business Journal Magazine’s Ranking Arizona 2003, which is based on the best of Arizona businesses.
