Barber Motorsports Park

When you think of a first class racing facility in the United States, Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama comes to mind.

What you think of next is the high speed motorcycles and race cars zooming around the track.

What you don’t think about is a paving machine and milling machine creeping along at an incredible 2 miles per hour while FNF CONSTRUCTION repaves and refurbishes the race track.

Under the guidance of Project Sponsor Mark Belshe, FNF did just that.

The original Contract was for FNF to mill 2” of the old AC and replace it with new material from APEC. It took less than 100’ to realize that there were some serious design problems with the existing material and FNF CONSTRUCTION by being flexible and working with the owner was still adapt to a whole bunch of new challenges.

Known for its racing track smoothness, golf-course like surroundings, and beautiful Motorcycle Museum, Barber Motorsports has been called the finest Road Race facility on this hemisphere.

Known for its ability to pave smooth and get the job done, FNF is becoming known as one of the finest paving contractors in the U.S.

Rick Allen was the Paving Superintendent, and along with Dennis Hallford, Milling Superintendent, much hard work and planning was accomplished.

Overcoming “pumping grade” bad subgrade, and compaction issues, FNF “Put the Smoothness on Barber Motorsports Park.” Great job Mark, Dennis, and Rick.
