US 60, Morristown

This 11-mile $13.4 million project parallels the railroad and its R.O.W. for the entire length and includes two at grade crossings for the railroad.

Originally, this work was to take place in the early stages of our project, but scheduling difficulties within their organization delayed this work almost ten months.

US 60, Morristown, Our project team was able to work out a phasing change that enabled us to complete the overall project on time and at no additional cost to the owner. This ADOT project consisted of roadway excavation, borrow, box culverts, bridges, pipe, water replacement, guard rail, asphaltic concrete / asphaltic concrete friction course (asphalt rubber), new traffic signals, demolition of the pedestrian overpass, and curb and gutter work. This project was completed in January of 2003.
