Quartzite-Parker-Topock Highway (SR 95)

This $20 million project is entirely located within the city limits of Lake Havasu City; 200 businesses have frontage along this project. In an effort to minimize disruptions to these businesses, a road rental item was established by the owner with a maximum bonus of $100,000 through creative scheduling and altered work hours; FNF has collected over 95% of this bonus.
The project included widening of 10.78 miles of the existing two-lane roadway to a five-lane section, including a continuous two-way left-turn lane and the remaining 2.54 miles will be widened to provide a four-lane divided roadway. This work consists of both widening and reconstructing the roadway, constructing a new concrete bridge, widening a concrete bridge, and extending 27 box culverts, construction of an asphalt concrete multi-use path, storm drain installation, concrete curb and gutter, striping, signing, and other incidental work. This project had a substantial completion date of March 2004. |
