New CM @ Risk Project: Chandler Boulevard Improvements
FNF has been awarded a Construction Manager at Risk Contract to re-construct the Arizona Avenue and Chandler Blvd. Intersection. The projects intent is to widen the road from four lanes to six lanes. This will be accomplished by constructing new sewer line, storm drain, catch basins, curb and gutter, sidewalk, grading, paving, street lighting, and landscaping. The first phase is already underway and consists of installing sewer pipe along Chandler Blvd. The next phase is due to start in Mid-July and will consist of all of the other roadway improvements. FNF is working closely with the City of Chandler to ensure that all six lanes are open by Thanksgiving. Due to the difficult time constraints, FNF will be phasing this project to meet the Thanksgiving timeline. In order to accomplish this, FNF will pave the road to the centerline, and come back to complete the median work, landscaping, and final lift of paving in early 2006. This is a high profile project for the City of Chandler, and will drastically improve the image of downtown Chandler when the project is complete in the spring of 2006.For up-to-date project information, please visit the project web site at: www.chandlerimprovements.fnfinc.com
