35th Avenue Bridge over the Salt River

This project consisted of construction of a bridge at 35th Avenue over the Salt River for the City of Phoenix. This phased project included relocating a 54” Water Main, constructing a new bridge over the Salt River, bank protection, grading, concrete flatwork, drainage work, paving, electrical and landscaping. This complex project is a prime example of FNF’s capabilities when it comes to constructing bridges over waterways. At one point in the project, the Salt River started flowing due to heavy winter rain and all of the work in the channel ceased until the river dried up. This project was constructed in several phases to allow the smooth flow of traffic through the work zone as the project was being completed. Once the new bridge was completed, FNF demolished the old bridge.
